Spicy Schematics - ischematics.com A comparison of time-domain S-parameters of a RG58 cable computed by different

methods including Theory, CST simulator , SPICE (MC10) and DWS simulators. The good agreement among methods is shown

as well as DWS advantages for fast modeling and simulations of lossy lines using both circuital, BTM and hybrid methods.

Good example by user request of Spicy 3.0 capabilities .. The user wanted a schmitt trigger ... i found a pdf

online with a simple CMOS implementation .. here is that

paper: http://web.mit.edu/Magic/Public/papers/00260219.pdf

now i made the circuit in Spicy:

http://www.ischematics.com/webspicy/share/img27543021772480038737b.png

Then created a subcircuit with one click using Spicy 3.0's new Convert feature, then simulated a test circuit

via transient sim to verify:

Previous simulations are an example of outstanding capabilties of Spicy SWAN version 3.0 for modeling and

simulation of digital circuits including logic/timing/signal integrity/power integrity issues.

These capabilties cannot be found in other NA based simulation tools on the market today. 23Like · · Share

FYI, on Spicy for Web, you can now set some of the .OPTIONS line parameters for spice simulations. Some

circuits converge better with RSHUNT or GMIN specified differently for example, and you can also choose

select the default as well. This is available now on Spicy for Web, and will be available on ipad for the next

Congratulations Spicy, we now hit 200 FB likes! Thanks everyone ... remember if you like Spicy, please help

by posting a good review on itunes .. it helps us support development of the app .. we have only a handful

of reviews and most of the time from the few who wanted something else and were not happy ... but 200

FB likes means maybe we can get 200 good reviews on itunes! That would help us out a lot ... just go to

itunes, search ischematics.com, and you can review the free, or full or now swan versions, which ever you

like .. (or review all if you like) ... 2Like · · Share

just click the wire button, then click and drag your wire .. when you lift up its done ... it also will start at the

nearest part pin automatically to help you out! ... this is as it should have been done, and we know a few

users have asked for this, so try it out on the web today, and we will roll it out on ipad soon! 3Like · · Share

This video shows an actual comparison between a commercial simulator (MC10) and SpicySWAN during the

simultaneous simulation of the same circuit 10_LC_TL. To get similar accuracy levels, both sims are carried

out the same time step of 10 femtoseconds on a time window of 0-50ns.

MC10 runs locally on a quad core I7 PC. SpicySWAN sim is carried out by SWAN/DWS engine running on a

SpicySWAN server in the Web.
