SOMOS APPRENTICE PROGRAM
It is vital that we provide
opportunities to the Hispanic youth
the will allow them to compete in
todays market. They are bright
students that are simply in need o a
chance to succeed.

The Task Force Somos ApprenticeProgram was created to empowerrecent college graduates and give
students the tools to transition from
academia to the workforce. The main
goal of this program is to provideHispanic students the self-assurance,
tools, and experience to compete in
todays workforce.
Students who participate in thisprogram will gain a deeperunderstanding of the workforce
by putting theory into practice in
professional settings.
Program Guidelines
The Task Force Somos ApprenticeProgram is a 8-week long extensive pro-gram. Applications are accepted all year.Submit Application online at thePuerto Rican Hispanic Youth Leader-ship Instituted (PRHYLI .org) website.
Eligibility:
College Graduate
Must have participated in the
Angelo Del Toro Puerto Rican/
Hispanic Youth Leadership
Institute Mock Session
3.0 or higher GPA
All applications must include a
cover letter and a resume.
A Minimum of 30 hours
per week
Positions available/Placement:All placements are made by the
Puerto Rican Hispanic Youth
Leadership Instituted (PRHYLI)
committee. Participants will
have the opportunity to rank
their area of interest in the ap-
plication and placement will be
based on availability.

Schedule is to be determined byassigned location.
