Trainig for Examiners!

Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU)-Examen (First in Europe, in 9 languages)

A) Written

1.) 150 MCQ in 2,5 hrs, only English, clinic and basic sciences

2.) Passing score determined by EBU-Exam.Comittee, depends on average score of the total group

Evaluation results up to 6-8 weeks

3.) Written exams compulsatory for residents in Austria and Switzerland, The Netherlands, Hungary and Poland

Location therefore : Linz, Luzern, Warsaw, Amsterdam in native languages and under the auspiecies of the national authorities

Others: Prague, Athens, Berlin, Istambul………in English;

Minimunum 5 Candidates for one city.

Eligibility:

• Residents of an European training programm in their final year of training.

• UK residents need to submit their national training number

• European certified urologists

• Non-European urologist, certified as a specialised urologist by the national authority in their country of origin.

B) Oral

Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) of one hour duration conducted by one examiner and one trustee.

Languages: Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greec, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish

In countries where the oral exam is integral part of the national exit examination, it organised in collaboration with and under the auspicies of the national societies.

Eligibility

National board certification as specialist urolgist or statement of last training year

EBU surgical logbook signed by the program director/hospital authority

Other than EBU-Logbooks are not accepted

Copy of Passport /identity card and 2 fotos for passport

Candidates who pass the FEBU oral examination may use the title

„FELLOW OF THE EUROPEAN BOARD OF UROLOGY“

In-Service Assessment

Objectives

To train and prepare residents for the written part of FEBU exam

To give statistical feeback of the performance

To provide the candidate information about the progress of his/her training

To provide the program director with an additional educational tool

Format

100 MCQ covering the whole field of urology, only english, 2hrs

A) Online assessment with passwort

B) Written assessment organised by the training institution.

Written examination only in English. 150 MCQ within 2.5 hrs

Oral OSCE Objective Structured Clinical Examination; one examiner, one observer 1 hrLanguage: Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Portugese

In-Service Assessement: 100 MQ sba, online or written, By Programm Director
