Salzer was established in 1985 with German Colloboration for
Rotary switches to bring to the Indian Industry world class
technology in Low voltage switchgear Products, coupled with
dependability and excellence in service, to the delight of all end
users.

With this in mind Salzer now introduces SOLAR BOS (balance of
System) to the market.
Introduction
Solar Array Junction BoxAn Array Junc�on Box (AJB), is used to connect the photovoltaic strings in parallel. The combined DC power
is fed to the photovoltaic inverter. It includes photovoltaic string protec�on, over voltage protec�on and a DC
output switch isolator. The AJB can be customized for different configura�ons, based on the number of
strings of solar panel modules used in the layout.
Solar main Junction BoxA Main Junc�on Box (MJB) is used to combine the mul�ple outputs from mul�ple numbers of Array Junc�on
Boxes in the Power Plant and form a single output that can be connected directly to the DC Distribu�on Box
(DCDB) or Power Condi�oning Unit. (Solar Inverter). The main important features of the Main Junc�on Box are to provide a single output.
Product Feature (DCDB)AJB made from imported refined Poly carbonate material. The box provides IP 65 level protec�on from
dust and water.
Fuses/MCB for over load protec�on on each string.
PV MC4 connectors are plug in [plug out] type: These special connectors enable quick yet reliable
connec�on and disconnec�on of the PV string from the array junc�on box. This is useful during maintains
and site upgrada�on work.
DIODES are used to block the reverse flow of current.
Surge Protec�on Devise (type-II) for protec�on against Electrical & Lightning surges.
