When I was a child, I wanted to be an astronaut.Thank goodness I decided to become a Social Media

Specialist!

Because as I got older, I found self satisfaction from creating positive change around me. Since working as Social Media Specialist, “change” became my

middle name.

While I was at business school, I had a burning desire to be a TV or radio presenter. So two years after graduating, I started volunteering

at different media outlets.

How it started..I needed to recruit volunteers for the activities some friends and I were organizing. so I filmed the activities in the hope of attracting more volunteers.

My only platforms for this outreach were Youtube, Facebook and Twitter.

I expanded the video series to include other social work activities and topics. (http://www.youtube.com/Dababeees)

Eventually, my channel caught the attention of major satelite channels such as Al Jazeera, Al Arabeyeh, and Palestine TV.

I got invited to Sweden soon after that where I took advanced courses in social media at Hyper Island Academy. When I came back to Palestine, I decided to specialize in Social Media and it became my career.
