Transcript of Slideshare or Blog: Where's your content platform?

In the beginning, there was a brand

And they did say, “Let’s do the content thingy.”

So they did hire The Content Marketer…

and said to him “Do the content thingy.”

And he did say, “Do you have a blog?”

and the Brand did say, “No.”

And The Content Marketer said unto them “Oh. Good.”

Since it’s been all about inbound. The blog has been the foundation of content strategy.

We feel safe with a blog.We know where we are with a blog.

Everyone understands the concept.

Even your boss.

Much like having a spleen

Even if they aren’t sure why.

They’re certain it’s important

At addmustard we’re always challenging ourselves.

To improve.

To stay at the cutting edge of digital marketing.

A phrase we often find ourselves saying is…

‘Question the process’

Are we doing the thing we’re doing because…

It’s the best way to achieve our goals?

Or because it’s what we’ve always done?

But if we don’t blog…

What do we do instead?

Well, blogs are about the presentation of ideas.

So how about a platform designed for presentations?

SlideShare

The website allows you to upload a presentation,

and share it with the world.

Think YouTube meets Powerpoint.
