Activity: Deconstructing the opening sequence

In groups, complete the following and be prepared to share your answers.

1. Work out the narrative.

2. How would having the soundtrack on pages 4, 6, 7 and 9 help us understand the narrative? For which sequences would it be essential and what do you it is in these places?

3. Analyse the way Tony and his sister are represented, then at how the grown ups are represented. Conclude about the way relationships between generations and age are represented.
