Mostly drawing indoors from the warmth of cafes but I did brave the cold to make this sketch of the Royal Opera House as preparations for the BAFTAs were in full swing.

People hanging around outside Somerset House for London Fashion Week also were great material for sketching.

Whilst the crowds flock to the Chelsea Flower Show, a more modest garden, the first ‘Edible Bus Stop’ is officially opened in Stockwell. Meanwhile further south, nearly 200 cyclists prepare for the annual ‘Tour de Penge’ ride to Greenwich and back.

I drew the area known as the ‘Undercroft’ on the South Bank just next to the Festival Hall as the skateboarders mounted a campaign to keep the space from redevelopment. In Trafalgar Square, groups of Hare Krishna followers celebrated with friends and family.
