Moving on a tripod

• All static shots will be on a tripod

• A tripod shot can be moved:

• Up and down is called a TILT

• A movement left to right is called a PAN

Camera Movement

• Static – this could include • Cinematic

– Tracking Shots– Jib or Crane

• Steadicam• Hand-held – often documentary styled.• Unusual camera shots

– Trombone– Cantered Angle

Impact

• What are these shots conveying to the audience?

• How are they developing the scene?

• How are the characters emotions conveyed to the audience visually.
