SHOE AM I? TAKE A WALK IN MY SHOES

Objective: You will describe yourself and brainstorm ideas in order to sketch images for your personal shoe sculpture.

DRILL:

Please get an iPad and your sketchbook.

1. Look at the power point- 5 min.

2. We will answer the questions for today and go through some of the slides together to discuss ideas.

QUESTIONS FOR TODAY 1. List your personality traits: (use lists to help)

2. What shoe(s) represents your personality and why?

3. What are your interests? Who are you?

List at least 10 things about you. Favorite foods, stories, movies, etc… (Who am I slide)

4. Look at powerpoint. Repost 3+ shoes you like on Edmodo.

5. Draw 4+ sketches to brainstorm ideas. Look at images of the shoes and objects you will add as the sculptural elements.

DRILL: NO WRITTEN DRILL.

1. Take out your drawings from Monday.

2. Which shoe are you going to build?

3. Get (scrap) paper, scissors and tape from front table.

4. Build a template for your shoe.
