MISSION STATEMENT

The Sharp Technical Services Group (TSG) continuously strives to develop new avenues to enhance the user’s learning experience by providing sales representatives with self-paced online courses to learn the information and skills required to become Sharp certified.

TRAINING COURSES

Sharp Smart Sales Training provides a path for sales representatives to acquire certification on specific Sharp product families and advanced subjects. A training course can consist of several elements. The most common course structure includes a series of Instructional modules that are supplemented by knowledge checks. However, some courses may include instructional videos and downloadable reference materials. Training courses may require students to pass a final exam before receiving certification. Please refer to the course description for details.

INITIAL LOGIN

To start Sharp Smart Sales Training, log in to success.sharpamericas.com.

1. Select the Training accordion menu.

2. Select Sharp Smart Training Portal

3. Select Enter Sharp Smart.

4. Enter your username and password. Select Login.

5B. Open the Email display drop-down menu and select Hide my email address from non-privileged users.

Once logged in, new learners are prompted to create their profile. Learners cannot access Sharp Smart training courses without completing this process. 5A. Enter general information (First name, Surname, Email address, City/State, County, and Timezone).

6. Enter the required information under Sharp Fields (Distributor, Dealership, and Manager).

6A. Hold the Control key to select multiple distributors. Learners Must select all applicable distributors.

7. Select Update profile.

8. The Preferences page will open. Select the Home tab to return to the home page.

COURSE ENROLLMENT

To access to Sharp Smart training modules, learners must complete the course enrollment process.

1. Navigate to the home page by selecting the Home tab.

3. Under Enrollment options, select Enroll me.

2. Locate the first module, then select the presentation title.

Sharp Smart training courses have different requirements. Read the provided information to ensure course completion.

1. Select a course to open the course menu, then scroll down the page.

3. Read the module directions, then select Enter to begin training.

4. The presentation opens in a new window and starts automatically.

4A. Select the restart button to replay audio and animations within the slide.

4B. Learners can also control the presentation’s volume and screen size from this window.

4C. Continue the presentation by selecting the NEXT button. Review previous content by selecting the PREV button.

4D. Close the presentation window after viewing each slide to complete that portion of the course.

5. Select NEXT ACTIVITY to continue the training course.

1. Some courses have mandatory knowledge checks to reinforce learning. To begin, select Attempt quiz now.

2. A pop-up box will appear detailing additional restrictions within the knowledge check. Select Start attempt.

3. Answer each question, then select Next page to continue the knowledge check.

4. Answer the remaining questions, then select Finish attempt.

4A. A summary of the attempt is displayed. Select Return to attempt to change answers before submission.

5. Select Submit all and finish to complete the knowledge check.

7. Scroll down the page, then select NEXT ACTIVITY to continue the training course.

1. Return to the course menu. The checked boxes indicate an activity is complete.

2. Meeting all other course requirements grants learners access to the final exam. Select the exam’s title.

3. Follow directions on pages 16–19 to complete the exam.

4. If the attempt does not yield a passing grade, select Re-attempt quiz ( some courses may have restrictions).

5. Return to the course menu. The checked box indicates that the exam is complete.

6. Select the final box to complete the course.

7. Select the course’s final item, a certificate of achievement, to complete the course and receive certification.

8. Download the certificate.
