PASSOVER DAYS 7 & 8April 26, 2019 | 21 Nisan 5779April 27, 2019 | 22 Nisan 5779
Welcome to Temple Emanu-El!
Shabbat Shalom
Welcome! We are happy that you have chosen to join us today. Temple Emanu-El is an exciting Conservative congregation that has been a strong Jewish presence in Providence for nearly one hundred years. We take great pride in our long history of being a traditional, yet progressive and inclusive community. We strive to meet the needs and deepen the experiences of all who come through our doors. In order to appreciate Shabbat fully, we ask you to embrace the experience of being unplugged for the duration of your time with us today.
Our community offers a variety of worship styles to address the ways our members and friends feel most comfortable in prayer. We hope that you will explore the spiritual dimensions of all the services that take place here, and find one that feels best. Many of our members even enjoy attending a different service each Shabbat.
In addition to meaningful prayer, Shabbat is also a time to connect with friends and family, or make new friendships, while enjoying good food. Everyone is invited to the Kiddush luncheon following all the services where our community comes together to enjoy Shabbat and good company. Our clergy and congregants are eager to know you!
We hope that you have an enjoyable and meaningful Shabbat experience with us.
