(SHRO) of intention to participate in Department of the Interior Medical

Review Board (DOI MRB) within fifteen days of 1st level determination

DOI-MRB Review

1st level Interactive Risk Assessment • Risk Mitigation or Waiver draft • Advice from the WFSPM • MO determination • Supporting documentation provided by the SHRO• Medical review on the WLFF’s disqualification

issues from a Medical Evaluation Official who presents the review at the DOI-MRB.

35 DAYS

DOI MSP schedules/facilitates the DOI-MRB no earlier than thirty five days after receiving the 1st level RM/W file

from the SHRO

DOI-MRB members review the case and vote to concur/non concur with the WLFF’s request for Risk

Mitigation or Waiver, and defines the DOI-MRB recommendations for the MO

5 DAYS

NIFC Employee Relations Specialist (NIFC ERS) delivers the DOI-MRB recommendation memo to the appropriate Fire Director to transmit to the MO within five days of the

DOI-MRB

10 DAYS

MO completes a decision memo and transmits it to the FMO, WLFF, SHRO, WFSPM, NIFC ERS and DOI MSP

within 10 days
