Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lord almighty!

(x2)

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!

Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee!

Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!

God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee!

Casting down their golden crowns

around the glassy sea!

All the kings and rulers

will fall down before Thee!

Who was, and is, and evermore shall be!

Holy is the Lord almighty!

Holy is the Lord almighty!

Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee!

Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see.

Only Thou art holy; there is none besides Thee.

Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!

All Thy works shall praise Thy Name

In earth, and sky, and sea!

Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!

God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

Come Ye Sinners

Come ye sinners, poor and wretched;

Weak and wounded, sick and sore.

Jesus, ready, stands to save you,

Full of pity, love and power.

Come ye needy, come and welcome;

God’s free bounty glorify:

True belief and true repentance,

and every grace that brings you nigh.

I will rise and go to Jesus.

He will embrace me in His arms.

In the arms of my dear Savior,

O, there are ten thousand charms.

Come ye weary, heavy laden,

bruised and broken by the fall.

If you tarry ‘til you’re better,

you will never come at all.

I will rise and go to Jesus.

He will embrace me in His arms.

In the arms of my dear Savior,

O, there are ten thousand charms.

View Him prostrate in the garden;

On the ground your Maker lies.

On the bloody tree behold Him;

Sinner, will this not suffice?

On the bloody tree behold Him;

Sinner, will this not suffice?

I will rise and go to Jesus.

He will embrace me in His arms.

In the arms of my dear Savior,

O, there are ten thousand charms.

Nothing But the Blood

What can wash away my sin?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

What can make me whole again?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

Oh! Precious is the flow

That makes me white as snow!

No other fount I know,

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

For my pardon, this I see:

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

For my cleansing, this I plea:

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

Oh! Precious is the flow

That makes me white as snow!

No other fount I know,

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

This is all my hope and peace:

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

This is all my righteousness:

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

Oh! Precious is the flow

That makes me white as snow!

No other fount I know,

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

Oh! Precious is the flow

That makes me white as snow!

No other fount I know,

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

MEANING (LESS): Pedaling Through Life On An

Sermon notes @ http://bible.com/e/12ug

Ecclesiastes 1:1-18The words of the Preacher, the son of

David, king in Jerusalem.2 Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher,

    vanity of vanities! All is vanity.3 What does man gain by all the toil    at which he toils under the sun?

4 A generation goes, and a generation comes,    but the earth remains forever.

5 The sun rises, and the sun goes down,    and hastens to the place where it rises.

6 The wind blows to the south    and goes around to the north;

around and around goes the wind,    and on its circuits the wind returns.

7 All streams run to the sea,    but the sea is not full;

to the place where the streams flow,    there they flow again.

8 All things are full of weariness;    a man cannot utter it;

the eye is not satisfied with seeing,    nor the ear filled with hearing.9 What has been is what will be,

    and what has been done is what will be done,

    and there is nothing new under the sun.

10 Is there a thing of which it is said,    “See, this is new”?It has been already

    in the ages before us.11 There is no remembrance of former things,

    nor will there be any remembranceof later things yet to be

    among those who come after.

12 I the Preacher have been king over Israel in Jerusalem. 13 And I applied my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom all that is done under heaven. It is an unhappy business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 14 I have seen everything that is

done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind.

15 What is crooked cannot be made straight,    and what is lacking cannot be counted.

16 I said in my heart, “I have acquired great wisdom, surpassing all who were over Jerusalem before me, and my heart has had

great experience of wisdom and knowledge.” 17 And I applied my heart to know

wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is but a striving after

wind.18 For in much wisdom is much vexation,

    and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Ecclesiastes 1:1The words of the Preacher, the son of

Gospel Application:1)What areas do we need to stop

trusting in our self-improvement and rest in the work of Jesus?

2) Knowing that our lives are but a vapor, how do we begin to live

differently?

3) How will the Gospel transform us into worshipers going into the world bringing the sweetest news to all?

Do this in remembrance of me…

2 Corinthians 9:7Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion,

for God loves a cheerful giver.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26For I received from the Lord what I also

delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and

when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this

in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper,

saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in

remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the

Lord's death until he comes.

Be Thou My Vision

Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;

Nought be all else to me, save Thou art;

Thou my best thought by day or by night;

Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my wisdom, Thou my True Word

I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord

Thou my great Father and I Thy true son;

Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise;

Thou my inheritance now and always;

Thou and Thou only, first in my heart;

High King of Heaven, my treasure Thou art.

God be my everything! Be my delight!

Jesus, my glory, my soul satisfied!

(2x)

My Jesus, You satisfy!

(4x)

High King of heaven, after vict’ry won,

May I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s Sun!

Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,

Still be my vision, O Ruler of all;

Still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

God be my everything! Be my delight!

Jesus, my glory, my soul satisfied!

(2x)

My Jesus, You satisfy!

His Be the Victor’s NameHis be the Victor’s name,

Who fought the fight alone;

Resplendent saints no honor claim,

His triumph was their own.

Trod sin and death beneath His feet,

As He was trodden down.

Through weakness and defeat

He won the conqueror’s crown.

Oh, love incomprehensible,

Made Thee bleed for me!

The Judge of all hath suffered death

To set the prisoner free!

He laid the power of Satan low;

By light, the dark overthrew;

Bowed to the grave – destroyed it so;

And death, by dying, He slew.

Oh, love incomprehensible,

Made Thee bleed for me!

The Judge of all hath suffered death

To set the prisoner free!

Bless, bless the Conqueror slain –

Slain in His victory –

Who lived, who died, who lives again

in glorious majesty

Who lived, who died, who lives again

in glorious majesty

Who lived, who died, who lives again

in glorious majesty!

Oh, love incomprehensible,

Made Thee bleed for me!

The Judge of all hath suffered death

To set the prisoner free!

My God, My FatherMy God, My Father while I stray,

Far from my home In life’s rough way.

Oh! Teach me from my heart to say:

“Thy will be done!”

Though dark my path, and sad my lot,

Let me be still, and murmur not,

Or breathe the prayer divinely taught,

“Thy will be done!”

But if my fainting heart be blessed,

With the Holy Spirit for its guest,

My God, to Thee I leave the rest:

“Thy will be done!”

If Though should call me to resign,

What most I prize – ‘twas never mine;

I only yield Thee what is Thine:

“Thy will be done!”

“Thy will be done!”

Renew my will from day to day

Blend it with Thine and take away

All that now makes it hard to say:

“Thy will be done!”

(2x)

Then when on earth I breathe no more,

The prayer oft mixed with tears before,

I’ll sing upon that joyful shore,

“Thy will be done!”

“Thy will be done!”

“Thy will be done!”

“Thy will be done!”

“Thy will be done!”
