Genre Writing – Persuasive Writing (Opinion writing)

The purpose of persuasive writing is to encourage or persuade readers to share the writer’s point of view or thoughts. Don’t forget to

use the OREO structure – state opinion, give three reasons why you think this and finally restate your opinion. Also, remember to use

opinion phrases – I think/I know/In my opinion etc.
