SELF-IMAGE the idea, conception, or mental image
one has of oneself There are many teenagers that worry
about their “image” way to much I surveyed 54 teenagers from ages 14-
19, through facebook and through school
http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicv/vfiles7904.jpg
AGE
Male (57.4%)Female(42.6%)
Out of the 54 teenagers that I surveyed 57% of the people that took the survey were men
43% were women
DO YOU FEEL THAT PEOPLE ARE WORRYING ABOUT THEIR IMAGE
MORE THAT THEIR SCHOOL WORK?
Yes(66.7%)Sometimes (33.3%)No(1.9%)
CONTINUED From my survey I found that 68% of the
teenagers said that teenagers worry about their image instead of worrying about their school work.
HAVE YOU EVER CHANGED WHO YOU ARE TO FIT INTO A GROUP OR
TO BE FRIENDS WITH OTHERS?
Yes (26.4%)No(73.6%)
Out of the 54 teens surveyed only 26.4% of teenagers have done something in order to fit into a group or to be with friends with others
ARE YOU COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF WHEN YOU ARE AROUND
OTHERS
Yes(59.3%)Sometimes (38.9%)Never(1.9%)
Out of the 54 people surveyed almost of the people surveyed are comfortable with themselves
And about 39% are sometimes comfortable with themselves
HAVE YOU EVER HARMED YOURSELF IN ANY WAY BECAUSE YOU WERE
NOT COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF
Yes (14.8%)No (85.2%)
About 85% of the people who were surveyed had said that they never harmed them self because they were not comfortable with themselves
This was such a good result to see
HAVE YOU EVER HAD AN EATING DISORDER?
Yes (15.4%)No (84.6%)
About 84% of the teens who took the survey have never had an eating disorder
In the article I found about 30% of people struggle with an eating disorder
This is good in some way because this shows that people around here do not struggle with eating

RELATED TO TWISTED?
It is related because Tyler’s sister dresses to fit, and so she can be popular.
I chose this topic because Tyler’s sister kept making her image a big deal through out the whole book
CONCLUSION Even though that the result for harming
themselves and having and eating disorder are low they are still scary that there are still some people who do
This shows you that teenagers go through different things
