• The Wall is far more than a typical memorial. It is a place for healing and a rallying point for veterans.

• The SL Wall is carefully crafted to to recreate the experience of a generations grief. Its setting alone on an island with flowering trees evokes calm while the measured cadence of the reading of names drives home the message of the wall.

How each of the location is currently used in SL

• Like its RW counterpart the SL wall is a place to honor and thank those who gave everything.

• More than any other monument the Wall shows the cost of war

• me, I have spent a couple of hours on the island and have never seen another avatar.
