Our mission is to be the frame in which medical students

worldwide contribute to the development of medical education.

Students convene in SCOME to share and learn about medical

education in order to improve it as well as benefit the most from

it on a personal and professional basis.

Standing Committee On Medical Education It was one of IFMSA’s first standing

committees from 1951 Acts as a discussion forum for students

interested in the different aspects of Medical Education

Practice, MediCafe, Breaking the Silence, WHO simulation etc.)

International Meetings and Conferences (GA, RM, AMEE etc.)

Training Sessions:

• Basic Life Support Training: CPR Training.

• ECG Skills Seminar: Hands on training.

Locally By Members, LOMEs (Local Officer) and

NOMEs (National Officer) Main activities within SCOME are training

sessions On assessment and exams, evaluation,

curriculum, teaching and learning systems, problem-based-learning, community-based-learning, computer-based-learning etc.

Training Medical Education Trainers (TMET)This is a skill building training where you will be certified by the IFMSA officially.
