WHAT IS SPACE?

Space is the boundless three-dimensional

extent in which objects exist and events occur

and have relative position and direction.

WHAT IS SATELLITE?

A satellite is an object which has been placed into orbit by human endeavor.

Such objects are sometimes called artificial satellites to

distinguish them from natural satellites such as

the Moon.

What are the uses of

various satellite in space?

There are different satellites in space which includes:*The Artificial Satellite: It was launched in the space was SPUTNIK – 1. It was launched by Russia in 1957 to trace radio signals.* Weather Satellite: It takes pictures of the clouds from the sky; ocean current and send those pictures to weather stations on Earth.

*Science Satellite: This satellite helps the scientist to get interesting information about space. Many planets have been found out by science satellite.

WHAT ARE ASTEROIDS?

Asteroids are small Solar System bodies or dwarf planets that are not

comets. The term asteroids historically referred to objects inside the orbit of Jupiter. They have also been called

planetoids, especially the larger ones.

* A dwarf planet is a planetary-mass object that is neither a planet nor a

satellite.
