Technology in the presentUSE OF LAPTOPS:

•Secondary students in many schools around the world now a day use laptops instead of notebooks to take notes in class•It mainly takes place in private schools or in schools which have students which are able to afford them.

Projector•For giving the students a better visual material.•This may help the students to have a higher level of understanding.•Makes more entertaining the class•Some teachers use the projector in all their classes.

Smart Board•Use to make classes more interactive•It maintains the students focus on classes•It’s a revolutionary whiteboard which is flexible and easy to use

•Wikis are useful for both students and teachers:•They are able to post any information they want•They have an easy and quick access to any information posted in the web by any of the users•If any information wants to be change, modifications can be done• Many users are able to edit the page

They are use in schools in order to have a higher control towards the students actions:•Students can be controlled if they skip any class or escape from school •Any misbehavior such as bullying can also be controlled •Students might feel that this is a lack of privacy•Are used to improve discipline in school

• Permits the students and teachers to have their own account and to be able to save information in their own account.• Documents might be stored and extracted from another computer in their homes for example if they log in into the intranet system.

• They provide access to the internet in a wide range• When using laptops it facilitates the access to the internet, as no cables are needed to be connected to the laptop•Provides an extended connection to different computers

• Rich countries may be able to afford computer programs and technology, therefore there might be a policy created in order for each student to have their own laptop• Technology might increase and improve its use in schools in general• Rich schools and countries will have much more technology use, than poor countries leading to inequality of access

• Internet access will improve and increase its use in school • Computer use might also increase significantly in the future • Online dictionaries and encyclopedias use might be expanded in schools providing a better education for students

• Poor countries might not be able to afford computers smart board, projector or laptops for their schools, therefore the education in poor countries might be more deficient than the education in rich countries This will cause an inequality in education: • Rich countries=better education and more prepared people• Poor countries= poor education and less prepared people

Use of laptops has increase significantly: • Almost in every class a laptop is needed per student • Computers in fact have improved and become more useful in class • Increase in the use of projectors:• Almost every teacher in every class, if not that very teacher uses a projector for their lessons

Decrease in the use of printers:• Students send most of their assignments via email or post it on wikis• Students just have to print their coursework's
