Introduction: The Microindentation Hardness Module is specifically developed withaccuracy and repeatability in mind. By using the latest image analysis techniques auser can automatically determine microindentation hardness. The module conformsto procedures described in both ASTM and ISO norms. Unlike manual methods, themodule uses state-of-the-art algorithms to automatically determine indent diagonalsthus minimizing operator bias. The module is a must for laboratories that experiencehigh sample volume and/or employ multiple technicians.
