STEP 1 Read and understand all steps in the instructions before starting the installation.
Park the motorcycle on a hard, level surface and turn IGN OFF. Allow the engine and exhaust system to cool.

Küryakyn warrants that any Küryakyn products sold hereunder, shall be free of defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the
consumer excepting the following provisions:
● Küryakyn shall have no obligation in the event the customer is unable to provide a receipt
showing the date the customer purchased the product(s).
●The product must be properly installed,
maintained and operated under normal conditions.
●Küryakyn makes no warranty, expressed or
implied, with respect to any gold plated products.
●Küryakyn shall not be liable for any
consequential and incidental damages, including labor and paint, resulting from failure of a
Küryakyn product, failure to deliver, delay in delivery, delivery in nonconforming condition, or
for any breech of contract or duty between Küryakyn and a customer.
●Küryakyn products are often intended for use in
specific applications. Küryakyn makes no warranty if a Küryakyn product is used in
applications other than intended.
●Küryakyn electrical products are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the
consumer. L.E.D.’S contained in components of Küryakyn products will be warranted for defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from
the date of purchase where as all other components shall be warranted for one(1) year.
This includes, but is not limited to; control modules, wiring, chrome & other components.
●Küryakyn makes no warranty of any kind in
regard to other manufacturer¹s products distributed by Küryakyn. Küryakyn will pass on
all warranties made by the manufacturer and where possible, will expedite the claim on behalf of the customer, but ultimately, responsibility for disposition of the warranty claim lies
with the manufacturer.

Working around the sharp edges of the cylinder-head fins exposes your hands to injury. Wear protective gloves to prevent serious injury.
YOU WILL BE WORKING AROUND THE ENGINE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM DURING INSTALLATION. ENSURE THAT THE ENGINE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM HAVE FULLY COOLED TO PREVENT INJURY.

INSTALLATION
STEP 2 Refer to PIC 1. On the clutch-side (left) of the engine case, locate the OEM clutch-cable-bracket.
STEP 3 Refer to PIC 2. From the brake-side (right) of the bike, locate the upper clutch-cable-bracket screw (M6); remove the upper screw and set it aside for now, it will be reused.
STEP 4 Refer to PIC 3. Locate the included Transmission Cover
Bracket in the kit. Position the Bracket against the cable bracket; align the holes and loosely secure the Bracket with the M6 screw from STEP 3. Leave the screw loose for now to allow for adjustment.
STEP 5 Refer to PIC 4. Secure the breather hose to the clutch
cable housing with an included Cable Tie. Do not over tighten the Cable Tie to allow for adjustment of the hose. Ensure that the hose does not get pulled out of the rubber crankcase fitting.
STEP 6 Refer to PIC 5. Locate the Left Transmission Cover in the kit.
Secure the Cover to the Bracket using two of the included screws; begin both screws in their threads before finish-tightening them.
NOTE: Ensure that the breather hose is centered in
the Left Cover cut-out to prevent damage from abrasion. Adjust the rubber crankcase fitting if necessary; compress the tabs on the clamp, then rotate the fitting. Ensure that the hose will not get pinched, rub exces-sively, or get pulled out of the fitting.
STEP 7 Press down on the front of the Cover
and finish-tighten the M6 screw under-neath.

STEP 8 On the brake-side (right) of the bike, remove the M6 screw from the drive belt cover as shown in PIC 6; set the screw aside, it will be reused later.
NOTE: Ensure that the metal spacer and rub-ber bushing remain in the drive belt cover.
STEP 7 Refer to PIC 7. Locate the Right Transmission Cover in
the kit. STEP 8 Refer to PIC 8. Attach the Right Transmission Cover to
the drive belt cover with the M6 screw removed in STEP 8; leave the screw snug for now to allow for adjustment.
STEP 11 Refer to PIC 8. Press down on the rear of the Right
Transmission Cover and torque the M6 screw to 85 in lbs (9.5 Nm).
STEP 12 Refer to PIC 6 and 8. Ensure that the seams are still
aligned; tighten the center screw. If necessary, loosen the screws, adjust the covers, then retighten the screws.

Ride On! INSTALLATION
It is the end user’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcy-cle. Küryakyn will not provide warranty coverage on products or compo-nents lost due to improper installation or lack of maintenance. Periodic in-spection and maintenance are required on all fasteners.

TIPS FOR PROPER CARE: Your new SATIN BLACK product requires special attention when
cleaning. Some cleaning products or procedures can actually damage the product.
Thoroughly clean the product often with a soft cloth, mild soap
and water. Regular cleaning keeps contaminates from building up.
Rinse thoroughly with FRESH water. Use only cleaning products that are formulated for SATIN BLACK
paint. DO NOT USE products containing abrasives to clean the SATIN
BLACK product. Never use steel or brass wool, wire brushes, polishing wheels, rubbing or polishing compounds on the prod-uct.
