Depreciation with 1811 in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud for professional services:
• Utilization Analysis app is being deprecated and will not be available in future releases
• Approve Timesheets - Approve/Reject Timesheets-This app is planned to be deprecated with 1902 and will not be available in future
releases.

The functionality is delivered to country versions Germany, Austria,
Switzerland and available for contract type T&E.
Down payment requests
▪ serve as security for liquidity
▪ are not equal to an invoice and can be issued without prior delivery of
good or services
▪ are statistical noted items
Feature brings new capabilities
▪ Create a new item usage “Down Payment Request” in the bill plan of
the customer project app for T&E contracts
▪ The down payment request is assigned to the WBS element (billing
element) where the billing plan belongs to
▪ Down payments are reflected as payables against the customer
account and do not have an impact on the financial result

Work Item Structuring
It is possible now to structure the work items under different
groups. As a configuration expert, you could configure the set of
work items under delivery organization under different groups
Business benefits:
Customer can define and group the work items under different
departments and use them in the project by assigning grouped
work items to work packages
Feature highlights:
Possibility to configure work items under different groups as
required by your organization needs.
Quick filtering and assignment of grouped work items to the
work packages.
Easy access of work items with in the work package based on
the assignment of grouped work items

Project Update APIs
As an end user you could use the project update external service to update the project plan under
“In Execution” stage of the project.

External applications can change the project plan (work packages, roles, demands) from the
external system to S/4HANA System

Mass Release of billing proposals
Mass release of billing proposals is to enable the user to release billing
proposals across projects facilitating minimal interaction with user and
auto generation of relevant debit memo requests on a mass scale.
New feature and improved usability that enable the user to:
Release billing proposals across multiple projects instantly
Schedule a single/recurring job for the release of billing proposals
based on a predefined selection, thereby minimizing user input

Utilization view in Assignment Board
As a resource manager, you can now show the weekly and monthly resource
utilization in the Assignment Board app. In addition, you can change the time
period for which to show data in the app.

Gain immediate insights about what resources are working on and if they have
capacity to take on further assignments
See if resources are overbooked or have free capacity and directly adjust
assignments based on this information

Easily switch between displaying resource assignments and resource utilization
on the top-level bars in the Gantt chart

As a resource manager, you can now use a quick assignment option to create
assignments as requested by the project manager.

Capabilities
Create assignment from resource request list as requested by the project
manager (for the requested resource)

Intelligent resource matching
As a resource manager, you can now include skills from other assignments in skills
matching. In addition, you can show an availability match percentage that is based
on the monthly distribution of required hours and free hours.

Take a resource’s project experience into account when looking for suitable
resources
Consider in the skill matching skills from other assignments in addition to the
skills from the employee fact sheet
Additional availability matching checking at monthly level if effort distribution
requested by the project manager can be fulfilled
Capabilities
Activate an additional filter setting to include skills from other assignments in
skills matching
Show an additional availability match percentage that is based on the monthly
distribution of required hours and free hours
Specify whether to use the availability match that is based on hours per month
or the availability match that is based on total hours for suitability matching

ODATA Service for Cost Rates
The new ODATA Service (API_FCO_COST_RATE_SRV) enables you to
process plan cost rates and service cost rates from external systems to
S/4 HANA Cloud
Value Proposition
• Offer customers the flexibility to process cost rates from third-party
systems to S/4 HANA Cloud in an efficient and secure way
• Fluid information delivery and an integtrated user experience
Capabilities
• Retrieve (GET): It enables you to retrieve plan/service cost rates in
an API call. You can apply any of the filters provided or else retrieve
all existing data.
• Update (PATCH/MERGE): You can update the plan/service cost
rates.
• Create (POST): You can create the plan/service cost rates
• Delete (DELETE): You can delete the plan/service cost rates

View the deleted time entry (Zero Hours’ Time Entry)
Currently when a consultant deletes an already approved
Timesheet entry, this timesheet entry is not displayed in the
timesheet. With this feature, the consultant will be able to View
the deleted time entry (Zero Hours’ Time Entry ) which have
been saved, submitted for approval or has been rejected by the
Manager in the Timesheet. The zero hour time entry won’t be
shown in the Timesheet calendar when this entry is approved by
the Manager.
Value Proposition
Consultants will be able to track all their deleted time entries
till they are approved by the manager.
Capabilities
When there are deleted and unapproved time entries for a
particular day, a ‘Zero Hour entries’ icon will appear at the
bottom of the day column the ‘Manage my timesheet’.
On clicking the icon, the consultant can check the details of
the deleted im entries that are yet to be approved.

Flexible period in Schedule Job for Sending E-Mails - Missing Time Entries
Currently the Overhead Accountant can schedule a job only for
specific time periods like current month, current year, last year
etc. With this feature, the Overhead Accountant can now
schedule a job for flexible periods to send e-mails to
employees with missing time entries
Value Proposition
The Overhead Accountant can send out email reminders for
flexible periods based on business need. For example, if
billing is done on a quarterly basis, the overhead
accountant can now send out time entry email reminders for
the last quarter.
Capabilities
Missing time entries are considered for the period entered
in the Start and End date fields.
