BIOGRAPHYSalvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech was born on 11 May 1904 in the town of Figueres (Spain). Salvador Dalí's parents sent him to drawing school. Dali explored many forms of art including classical painters like Raphael or Velázquez. In the 1920s, he went to Paris and began interacting with artists such as Picasso, Magritte and Miró. On the morning of 23 January 1989, Dalí died of heart failure at Figueres at the age of 84.
