USER HANDBOOK

The FV432 was developed as a tracked armoured personnel carrier. It was introduced into the British Armyin the 1960s and carried a crew of 2 plus a 10 man infantry section. Many variations of the FV432 whichincluded a command vehicle, a recovery vehicleand an armoured ambulance.

In the APC role the main armament was a 7.62mmGPMG. The FV432 was powered by a Rolls-RoyceK60 series multi-fuel engine driving a 6 speedautomatic gearbox.

The FV432 has recently received a new lease oflife and has been extensively upgraded for servicein Iraq and Afghanistan.
