Title; Pitfall

• Pitfall (definition: Any trap or danger for the unwary: the pitfall of excessive pride).

Inspiration from real Film Opening Sequences

Fish Tank – The main character is trapped and her mother is an alcoholic.

Background colour- Light blue, Freedom, Vulnerable,

The only person on the cover which highlights she is the main

character and that she is isolated.

The font is in capital letter ‘FISH TANK’, which emphasises her being

trapped.

Alcoholism The term used for people with problems with alcohol. Compulsive and uncontrolled consumption of alcoholic beverages. It is usually detriment of the drinkers health and personal relationships and social position.

Depression Depression is a state of low mood to activity that can have a negative effect on a person’s thoughts, behaviour, feelings, world view and physical well-being. Depressed people may lose interest in activities that was once pleasurable.

Isolated character

Jimmy is the main character who spent his whole life blaming others for his misfortunes until he comes to terms to accepting that he is the decision maker of his life, he also feel's isolated in a way that he needs to express his emotions and he does this through rapping.

Precious is an isolated character as she was raped by her father and felt so vulnerable and isolated, she had no one to talk to which made it harder for her to open up about the issue's of life at home.
