The email remains a useful tool for eLearning. First time eLearners also find the email helpful to meet due dates for reports.

Attachments include Ppt presentations with or without animation or audio; movie clips or a simple written report for eLearners with beginner computer skills.

Pairing up students, one with more computer skills than another, has been effective in promoting success in post grad eLearning. Attaching files to an email is still a hurdle for some first-timers.
