Five Steps to Sustainable Projects

1. Needs analysis with target community to help

identify the problem & solutions;

2. Incorporate local resources & funding, regional

input, and indigenous knowledge;

3. Determine most appropriate technology to

address the issue;

4. Provide for ongoing maintenance; and

5. Teach community to operate equipment, &

share business skills; to help set up committee

or agency to collect fees & cover operations /

repairs.

• President & President Elect sign a MoU

• Appoint a club Rotary Foundation Director

• Apply for a District grant – due 1st April
