Higher Ambitions

• National context:– Business to be more engaged in the funding and

design of programmes– We will expand new types of higher education

programmes that widen opportunities for flexible study for young people and adults and reflect the reality of the modern working lives.

– Our expectations of business will continue to rise: they need to be active partners with universities, not passive customers.

Accreditation Frameworks

• Means of providing the accreditation infrastructure to allow for ‘co-generated’ curricula and more flexible approaches

Frameworks Assembly

• Face-to-face workshop hosted by the University of Gloucestershire, organised in collaboration with the ePPSME Project

• Open invitation to all the other projects in the JISC Lifelong Learning and Workforce Development (LLL & WFD) programme

• The purpose will be to exchange ideas on the development and implementation of academic accreditation frameworks
