6th Grade Language Arts
We have completed our second novel, Becoming Naomi Leon. The students did an amazing job on their RWS’s. We are now reading Seedfolks. SEEDFOLKS uses 13 narrators to tell the story of the founding and first year of a community garden in an immigrant neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.
3rd Grade Language Arts We have completed the novel, A Long Way From Chicago. The students have done an amazing job on all the various activities that go along with the novel. We have been working on character development, vocabulary, understanding the main idea, and using details in the story to help us write our on stories. Enjoy your Winter Break and pick up a book that you enjoy and spend some quiet time reading.
