Unlike past art pieces which had religious aspects, Rococo was secular but spiritual at times

Bright colors, ornate details, interlaced designs

Characterisitics portrayed how Rococo art appealed to the wealthy of France.

Its lightness and allure illustrated Rococo as a dream of happiness.
