F rom the street side, 4491 Man-hattan College Parkway looks like a diminutive center hall co-lonial. Indeed, Julius Gregory,
one of the Fieldston Historic District’s sto-ried architects, designed it as a typical co-lonial revival building. But looks can be de-ceiving, especially when the design tucks hidden dimensions into an extension that includes a garage, a breakfast area and au pair bedroom with en suite bath.
The exterior of the house features hard-to-duplicate details like a slate roof, gently arched windows and gabled dor-mers.
