Lab1Designing of Matching Networks

The objective of designing of matching networks is to transfer maximum power to load at the desired RF frequency i.e. 2.07 GHz in this experiment. To Transfer all the power to load, it is required that the matching network is lossless.

Figure shows L section matching network with circuit diagram, input impedance, scattering parameters and related calculations.

Here Zs = 50 ohm and Z(load) = 75 ohm

Designing of Tapped Inductor and Capacitor

Tapped Capacitor and Tapped inductor are another important circuits for impedance matching in which four parameters are unknown such as L1, L2 and C as shown in figure 24 with RL=50 ohm and Rin=75 ohm.

Lab3Designing of Tapped Resonator

Tapped Resonator is another important circuit for impedance matching in which four parameters are unknown such as C1, C2, L1 and L2 as shown in figure 36 with RL=75 ohm and Rin=50 ohm.
