Kathakali 1950

Traditional Kerala

Kerala known as “Gods own country”, it is a

land of coconut groves and lush vegetation

wide beaches and rainforests. The excessive

use of natural material such as wood, fiber,

coir bamboo, metal and stone has resulted

in long established craft practices that

unlike the highly decorative craft of most of

Indian exhibit a simplicity & minimalism of

form.

As Kathalali is a dance form depicting a certain story and people from different places come to see it. It refresh a person 'mind and make him feel happy. So this inspire me to take the mood in my living room as “Refreshing”

As my mood is refreshing colours combination that are considered refreshing usually include cool blue-green paired with it’s complement, red orange, blue-green ,or teal, is fresh and invigorating. So I have taken Turquoise colour as my main colour which is a combination of blue and green. And seeing this I have taken a monochromatic colour scheme
