Biopharmaceutical drugs continue to increase market share and fill the pipeline of major drug companies. This trend, which is predicted to increase even further, results in a highly competitive commercial and scientific landscape. As such, any improvements to the drug discovery process will be able to yield significant benefits both in terms of cost of goods and, for the benefit of patients, bringing new drugs to market more quickly.
