SEMINOR ON

REMOTE ACCIDENT REPORT SYSTEM FOR HIGHWAYS USING RF

AIM

The Aim of this is to monitor the accidents

which occur on the highways using RF

technology.

The purpose of this is to report the

monitoring section whenever accident occurs

on the highways

ABSTRACT

In present days Electronic communication takes an

important role. In this we are sending information about vehicle

accident by using RF communication with the help of

Microcontroller.

An accident is a specific, identifiable, unexpected, unusual and

unintended external event which occurs in a particular time and

place, without apparent or deliberate cause but with marked

effects, it implies a generally negative probabistic outcome which

may have been avoided or prevented circumstances leading up to

the accident been recognized, and acted upon, prior to its

occurrence.

PORT 1:

Motors are connected to port one of micro controller through two h

bridges. The two h bridges are connected to P1.0, P1.1, P1.2 and P1.3

respectivelyPORT 3:

Switch is connected to P3.7. It is acts like an accident identification sensor.

PORT 2:

Port 2 can act as both input as well as output port. The

microcontroller port 2 pins are connected to the transmitter circuit. We

are using HT12E IC which is a 18 pin Ic.

PORT 0:

This port 0 can act as both input as well as output port. In this port

zero is connected to lcd. The data pins of lcd is connected to data pins

of lcd.

PORT 2:

Port 2 can act as both input as well as output port. The

microcontroller port 2 pins are connected to the receiver circuit. We

are using HT12D IC which is a 18 pin decoder.

BUZZER:

Buzzer is connected to the port p3.0.

Micro Controller

The AT89S52 is a low-power, high-performance CMOS 8-bit

microcontroller with 8K bytes of in-system programmable Flash memory.

The device is manufactured using Atmel’s high-density nonvolatile

memory technology and is compatible with the industry- standard 80C51

instruction set and pin out.

The on-chip Flash allows the program memory to be reprogrammed in-

system or by a conventional nonvolatile memory programmer.

RF Transmitter

315/434 MHz ASK TRANSMITTER

Here in this the RF transmitter module is not directly

connected to microcontroller. An Encoder is connected between

the RF module and the controller, in order to encode the data for

efficient transmission of the data.

RF Receiver

315/434 MHz ASK RECEIVER

In this RF receiver is connected as shown in the schematic.

The DATA pin is connected to the decoder HT648L which

decodes the received signal and gives to the microcontroller.

Power Supply

The power supplies are designed to convert high voltage AC mains

electricity to a suitable low voltage supply for electronics circuits and

other devices. A RPS (Regulated Power Supply) is the Power Supply

with Rectification, Filtering and Regulation being done on the AC

mains to get a Regulated power supply for Microcontroller and for the

other devices being interfaced to it.

H-BRIDGE:

H-bridge is to construct with transistors and Motor. It is used to control the vehicle.

Buzzer

Buzzer is for alarming purpose ,when ever the system will

find any accident occurrence the buzzer will buzz.

CONCLUSIONThe “REMOTE ACCIDENT REPORT SYSTEM FOR HIGHWAYS USING

RF” has been successfully studied, Integrating features of all the hardware

components used have developed it. Presence of every module has been

reasoned out and placed carefully thus contributing to the best working of the

unit.
