Pneumatic valves from KMT Waterjetcombine fast response times withlong life to deliver very reliable, pre-dictable service for the waterjet indus-try. These number-one selling valvesin Europe enable longer productionruns, resulting in the production of more parts.

Designed to Perform Longer The performance is very reliableand fast due to the 12 stainlesssteel springs which apply the forceto open or close the valve. Thesprings deliver the long liferequired by demanding applica-tions and production schedules.

Compact and Lightweight for VersatilityThe very compact, lightweightdesign allows them to be placedcloser together for greater versatility. The valves are used ina wide range of applications,including high-speed roboticmotion systems, high-volumeslitting operations and demanding,custom-cutting operations.

Two DesignsThe Normally Closed Valve, whichrequires air pressure to open, canbe used as a high-pressure on/off valve or as a component in a bleed-and-block system (which protectsthe high-pressure components fromdamage by rapid pressurechanges). Because it is normallyclosed, water pressure will bemaintained even if air pressure islost – a great safety featurepreventing an unexpecteddischarge of water.

The Normally Open Valve, whichrequires air pressure to close,releases system pressure within125 milliseconds when air pressureis cut off, providing better protectionto high pressure components. Thisvalve is not recommended for cut-ting heads.
