trAnSferrinG to ucfHere are a few tips to help make your transfer to
UCF’s B.A.S. program easy and worry-free:
Apply for admission and send transcripts to •
UCF once you complete 45 credit hours
Satisfy the CLAS requirement before you •
complete 60 credit hours
Talk to your advisor as soon as you decide •
to apply to UCF
Am I eligible for the B.A.S. program? Yes, if you have completed your A.S. degree
since 2000—those who completed their A.S.
before 2000 need 36 hours of general education
requirements for admission.
When should I apply? And how? Apply to UCF once you’ve completed 45 credit
hours. You can submit an application online at
www.admissions.ucf.edu.
Do I need to complete my A.S. degree prior to applying? We strongly recommend it, but you can indicate
on your application when you plan to finish your
A.S. degree.
How do credits from my A.S. degree apply toward the B.A.S. degree? Your A.S. degree is transferred as a complete
package, and you will start the program as either
a junior or senior. UCF evaluates your credits to
see if you need any additional general education
