Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme

With financial support from Sweden and Switzerland, UNDP supports five сitizens’ advisory bureaus to support the government in providing administrative, psychological and legal aid to the vulnerable population in the aftermath of the conflict in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

The bureaus now cover 28 cities, towns and villages with a combined population of 690,070, including those residing alone the contact line and in the grey zone. In 2017 alone, some 23,000 men and women, including those living close to the contact line, received support through five bureaus.
