• since 1993 conventions between Cadatral office and local gvts = 150.000 cadastral maps turned vector

• starting mid 2002 ending end 2003 : 400.000 Cadatral maps turned raster with seed point for each parcel

• Law SRU (rebuilding city over the city) => reference data is needed (WS 21st June)

• Law on "communautés de communes) => transfer of GI responsibility to wider structure

• Law on the Information society => essential data and access to public data

• Common Agricultural Policy => use of orthophotos compatible with 1:10.000
