Transcript of Real Estate Investing and Invitations to Parties

A couple of nights ago I was invited to attend a gathering but the problem was I didn\'t know the party hosts, and to

be honest, I really didn\'t feel like attending.

The truth of the matter is that I have been asked to go to parties similar to this in the past where I don\'t know the hosts, but with my girl friend pushing me, I always end up

attending.

So why do I never want to go?

In my mind I had created fear of attending...which was not at all based in reality.

When I thought about the party, I had envisioned myself standing there, alone in the corner,, trying so hard to think

of something to talk to someone about - even though I tried really hard, I struggled to make a connection. There

was no common ground, the conversations awkward, plus the music playing too loud in the background and I was

just plain miserable.

That is how I always pictured my party experience to turn out.

Haven\'t most of us, at least at some point in time, felt like this?

These are the kinds of gatherings you go to where you think to yourself you would rather actually be trapped at the dentist office for a week than suffering through this

agonizing torture....

But what if I had tried to simply picture and expect a different and better outcome?

So instead of being a loner, talking to no one in the corner...imagine if I had expected to be surrounded by wonderful people interested in what I had to say, fully

engaging in conversation, while relaxing music played on in the background, very relaxed and at ease, enjoying

myself and my new found friends?

If had pictured THIS scenario instead, do you think, just maybe, that I would have been more open to attending

the party?

How this Relates to the House Flipping Mindset

Imagine being able to change this sort of perception not only when faced with a decision about a gathering to

attend...but how about when you make your very first deal on flipping a house?

Let\'s say you have worked hard to start your house flipping career you discover the most perfect house

flipping property to buy. Every sign is yelling yes. Finally you have uncovered a good price, the financing is spot on,

you have a handle on expected costs and you are sure about what you will be able to sell the property for.

Yet you imagine the deal crumbling beneath you, with the house just sitting there on the market, while you sit there watching everything unfold around you, constantly losing

money...

What are your prospects of success if you continue with this mental attitude?

There is really no chance of success if you hold that type of mental belief.

Instead picture the house selling for thousands more than your worst case price, in less than two weeks, providing you and your financiers with an awesome profit on the

deal.

This is the sort of mindset you must adopt-the house flipping mindset.

This is not a wild theory that all will go perfect just because you PERCEIVE it will...that is not true at all. You need to have a specific strategy of steps that minimizes that odds of a poor deal - in order to place yourself in a

position to perceive value and wonderful feelings instead of thinking of the pain.

Above all to acquire this positive mindset, and once you have mentally prepared be sure to then imagine success in your thoughts and focus on all that you have to gain from

the deal.

This is the house flipping mindset and the first critical step to house flipping success.
