NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309
of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby makes
the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Forest Subordinate "
Service Rules, 2015, namely: -
1. Short title and commencement.- (1 )These rules may be
called the Rajasthan Forest Subordinate Service (Amendment) Rules,
2018.
(2) They shall come into force with immediate effect.
2. Amendment of rule 17.- In proviso to clause (2) of rule 17 of
the Rajasthan Forest Subordinate Service Rules, 2015, hereinafter
referred to as the said rules,-dcbaZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBA

(i) in sub-clause (iii), for the existing punctuation mark ".",
appearing at the end, the expression "; and" shall be
substituted; and
(ii) after the sub-clause (iii), so amended, the following new
sub-clause (iv) shall be added, namely.-
"(iv) before starting of the physical fitness and physical
efficiency test / trade test where selection is made through
written examination and physical fitness and physical
efficiency test/trade test. ,.
3. Amendment of rule 30.- In rule 30 of the said rules,-
(i) the existing sub-rule (2) shall be substituted by the
following, namely:-

"(2) The physical efficiency and walking test will be
carried out by the officers, nominated by the Committee
mentioned in sub-rule (2) of rule 23. The physical
efficiency and walking test shall be qualifying in nature." ;

(ii) in clause (b) of sub-rule (3), for the existing expression
"Trade test will comprise of ", the expression "Trade test
will be of qualifying in nature and will comprise of" shall
be substituted; .
(iii) the existing sub-rule (4) shall be deleted; and
(iv): the existing sub-rule 5 shall be substituted by the .
following, namely.-
"(5) The Committee shall prepare a merit list of the
candidates arranged in order of merit on the basis of marks
obtained in the written examination amongst the candidates
who appeat in physical fitness and physical efficiency test!
trade test and qualify the same. The committee shall
recommend to the Appointing Authority a merit list, so
prepared, of candidates equal to the number of vacancies for
appointment to the post concerned:
Provided that-
(i) the Committee may to the extent of 50% of the
advertised vacancies, keep names of suitable
candidates on the reserve list. The Committee
may, on requisition, recommend the names of
such candidates in the order of merit to the
Appointing Authority within six months from
the date on which the original list is forwarded
by the Committee to the Appointing Authority.

(ii) if two or more candidates score equal marks,
their rank in merit shall be decided on the basis
of age, elder candidate shall be ranked higher
in order of merit in such a case."
4. Amendment of Schedule-IV.- In schedule-IV appended to the
said rules,-

(i) the existing entry in column of Physical fitness/trade
test, against Forest Guard. shall be substituted by the
following, namely:-
"Qualifying in nature";
(ii) the existing entry in column of Physical fitness/trade
test, against Forester shall be substituted by the
following, namely: -
"Qualifying in nature";
(iii) the existing entry in column of Physical fitness/trade test, .
against Driver .shall be substituted by the following"
namely:-
"Qualifying in nature"; and
(iv) the existing column ofInterview shall be deleted.
