Technical Changes

• Retirements & Revaluations allowed in period of addition

• Adjustments in period of addition are created ADJUSTMENTtransactions with their own accounting event and not asADDITION/VOID. BOOKS row in FA_DEPRN_SUMMARY is notupdated.

• Catchup expense for assets added with a backdated DPIS istaken at the time of transaction and not deferred to theDepreciation run.

• Adjustment entries for prior period transfers for Depreciationexpense/reserve taken at the time of transaction and notdeferred to depreciation run.

Technical Changes

• Accounting lines are now stored in the SLA Tables:xla_eventsxla_ae_headersxla_ae_linesxla_distribution_links

by linking to the event id in the FA_Transaction_Headers andby linking to the event id in the FA_Transaction_Headers andFA_Deprn_Summary tables. CCID no longer stored in theFA_Adjustments table.
