Koha
Koha is a open source Library Management Software. It is extremely customizable.
According to Library Technology Guide, maintained by Marshall breeding well-known
library scientist, there are almost 6000 libraries presently using koha. In Bangladesh, 13
libraries are now using koha.

DSpace (Digital Institutional Repository)
An IR is a set of services and technology that provide the means to collect, manage,
provide access to, disseminate, and preserve digital materials produce at an institution.
Alternatively it also serve as Digital Library. It provide many facilities to user such as-
• User can get all digital materials which uploaded to DSpace.
• Full text search facilities
• Google provide DSpace materials link frequently
• Self Archiving – faculty can submit articles
• User can get new Item submission mail.
And many more facilities Dspace provides
Near about 1378 institutions are presently using Dspace all around the world. In
Bangladesh ICDDRB, Independent University, Bangladesh and BRAC University
are using Dspace. Dhaka University Library also started using DSpace.

Vufind
Vufind is a library discovery tool which created Villanova university Library. And first
implemented by National Library of Australia.
By using vufind user can search all e-journal and library materials trough one interface. User can
get normal, advance and many facets search facilities by using vufind.
VuFind is a library resource portal designed and developed for libraries by libraries. The goal of
VuFind is to enable your users to search and browse through all of your library's resources by
replacing the traditional OPAC to include:
•Catalog Records
•Locally Cached Journals
•Digital Library Items
•Institutional Repository
•Institutional Bibliography
•Other Library Collections and Resources
VuFind is completely modular so you can implement just the basic system, or all of the
components. And since it's open source, you can modify the modules to best fit your need or you
can add new modules to extend your resource offerings.
