Proverbs 6:12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh
with a froward mouth. (NIV “a scoundrel and villian”)
(TLB “a worthless and wicked man”)
This is a man sold out to sin.
His words are distorted, contradictory, and false.
God is warning his children against
having such a man for a friend.
Such people are not true friends, because they
will lead you astray.

13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his
feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
When he is deceiving others, he lets his
accomplices in evil know his true intentions.
They are working together to take from or take
advantage of or perhaps just make fun
of some decent man or woman.
4
14 Frowardness (perversity or fraud) is in his heart,
he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth
discord.
(NIV) 14 who plots evil with deceit in his heart --
he always stirs up dissension.
(TLB) 14 He is always thinking up new schemes to
swindle people. He stirs up trouble everywhere.
5
Such a person will steal from family or anyone.
He will “borrow” with no intention to repay.
If he is an addict, he loves his addiction above all
else, including parents, siblings, children, friends.
He won’t admit it, even to himself,
but it’s true.
6
15 Therefore shall his calamity
come suddenly; suddenly shall he
be broken without remedy.
God’s all seeing eye is watching all things.
God sees such a man and his deeds.
(David wrote) Psalm 37 1 Fret not thyself because
of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the
workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut
down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
7
Stay away
from such
wicked people.
If you are caught up in their perverse ways, or enable
them, you will suffer their same consequences.
They seem as if they are having fun and doing
well, but suddenly --
They will be caught in the trap of
their own devices.

16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate:
yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: 1 A
proud look, 2 a lying tongue, 3 and hands that
shed innocent blood, 4 An heart that deviseth
wicked imaginations, 5 feet that be swift in
running to mischief, 6 A false witness that
speaketh lies, and 7 he that soweth discord
among brethren.

Wall street brokers
Bankers
Identity thieves
10
False witnesses testified
against Jesus when he
was being tried.
Sowing discord or causing
trouble among friends is a
favorite tool of devils.
11
These things which God hates, we must hate in
ourselves; it is nothing to hate them in others. Let
us shun all such practices, and watch and pray
against them; and avoid, with marked disapproval,
all who are guilty of them, whatever may be their
rank.Matthew Henry Concise Bible Commentary.
Self-evaluation is very difficult to do honestly,
but we must do our best.
At the first sign of such things, repent with
bitter tears of remorse.
12
If we hang out with such people their habits
will become our habits.
Proverbs 1 10 My son, if sinners entice thee,
consent thou not.
Proverbs 3 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the
LORD, and depart from evil.
Proverbs 4:14-15 (TLB) 14 Don’t do as the wicked
do. 15 Avoid their haunts -- turn away, go
somewhere else,
