Its about fire suppression system in engine room using Co2. This
project explains the extra requirement of the firefighting system
when Engine room volume is increased by 20%. This is done for a
ferry company according to their requirement.

Volume of Engine room after 20% volume increase= 886.94 m3
Mass of Co2 gas required after volume increased= 59.24 m3
Total mass added to ship= 0.2492 tonne
Bodily sinkage of ship= 0.0311 cm

Volume1= 164.286 m3
By taking average height from frames 30 54, the following volume
calculations been done.
Frames 30 - 54
Area 2= 39.29 m2

TOTAL VOLUME= 739.114 m3

Conculsion
From those calculations and report, the requirement of new and
extra instalations had done to the ferry company according solas
regulations.
Opinion by reasoning for seamless delivery
28. What is the final recommendation ?Hover over the video and
youll be pleasantly surprised.
Finally I would like to recommend the Total flooding
DischargeNozzles instead of using 180 or 360 nozzles.
Because the total flooding type discharge the Co2 gas 5 timesfaster
than others. And More efficient too.
