Professionals have taken up playing the game as their full time work.
They may not be attached to any other specific job except as ambassadors etc
They earn their reward in cash and even the fame they get is encashed by advertisements

They can practice their profession within the area specified by the registration agency.
This is because they have been trained to practice their profession and have
What is essential is a registration accepting the ‘code of conduct’ as decided by the council of registration or society.
1/13/2013 MES College of Engg -National Science Day 2011 5
Doctors have to get a registration certificate from Indian Medical Council (IMC)
Lawyers have to register at the time of enrolment as a lawyer.
Architects take the registration of Council of Architects (COA)
Chartered engineers exist though there is no single body for registration of engineers or teachers(?)
1/13/2013 MES College of Engg -National Science Day 2011 6
After acquiring necessary qualifications from an approved Institution , you fill up some forms and pay a registration fee.
In return, you get a registration number and certificate of registration.
More than this, it is an agreement between the council and the member to act according to a ‘code of conduct’ acceptable to the society.
If you violate the conditions of registration, you will not be allowed to practice the profession

From a mentor:“Lead, Follow or Get out of the way”
Leaders are not born, they become leaders by constant efforts
Of course, it is easier to follow than lead But try to enjoy being a leader rather than be
a follower At least, don’t be, “neither a leader nor a
follower” If so, be a nuisance to society

the quality of unselfish concern for the welfare of others
acting with less concern for yourself than for the success of the joint activity
Imagine a world where people give of themselves simply because they want to. Not out of a sense of debt.not because they want something in return.
"No ulterior motives. No guilt feelings. Just a desire to give for the sake of giving

Now instead of imagining this kind of world, do your part in making it
happen. Volunteer your time to improve your
community. Give back to the world that gives so much to you. And if it happens to make you feel good, that's all right.
“Feeling good is the one ulterior motive that's acceptable.“ - Bill Daniels)

Information explosion Things become obsolete in no time Engineering syllabus has to be revised
frequently ,even then there is a : Need for expertise in different disciplines Impossible for one or two individuals Very Large systems, Power systems, space
applications, computer networks. Etc.
31
Exchange of knowledge and experience is required for improvement of system performance.
Interaction at design stage can reduce problems after design and fabrication.
No man can claim to be expert in every thing now
32
Energy efficientTo save energy for the future
Environment or eco-friendlyTo make this planet livable for human beings and other living organisms
Economical If you want to sell your product and make
a profit without risking quality
