Accessing the Grade Book

You can Access the MISIS LOG-IN through our PHS Website

MISIS Log In Page

If going directly to link:misis.lausd.net/start

1. Select your user role by clicking on the Select Menu next to Teacher.

Accessing Grade book

•“Click” on Grade book tab to access it.

Adding a New Assignment

•Select Correct Academic Year

•Select Correct Term

•Select Correct Grading Period

•Click on Assignments

Adding the New Assignment

Click on “Add New Assignment”

Selecting type of Assignment

Select Category:

Select:ClassworkLabworkTestsQuizzes, etc.

Select Category:

Click on Drop down

To add own category:

Select Category and go to Title:•Drop down shows different Categories

•Once Selected Category go to Title

Title:

•Enter Title

Enter Maximum Score

Enter Date Due:

Special Status:Click on Drop down

•Standard•Extra Credit•Not Graded

•Click “Save”

Full Assignment Entered:

•If you make a mistake on Assignment you can edit or Delete

•You will see assignment added.

•To verify assignment was saved it will give you this pop up view.

Adding Grading Scale

Add Custom Grading Scale

•Click on “Admin” and this will open up window.

Select Manage Grading Scale

Add Custom Grading Scale

•Default Scale is conventional 90,80,70,60.

•Click on “Add Grading Scale” for Custom Scale

Save Grading Scale• Change Minimum value to desired percentage.

Submitting Grades

Transferring Grades into Grading Report

•Check correct Grading Period

•Click on Admin.

•Click on Publish Grades.

Submit Grades

•This window signifies that you are ready to submit published grades.

•To officially Transfer into Report Grading make sure to click “Submit”

•Notice Calculated Grade by Grade book

•Teachers Override of Grade book

Enter Work Habits and Cooperation by Class

You must submit work Habits and cooperation individually for each student.

Go to Admin Tab: “Select Grade by Class”

During open grading window you will se an “Edit” button at top left hand corner. Click to enter Work Habits and Cooperation.

You also need to add “Comments” for all student not meeting standards

To Access MISIS Grade Book you must use the Search Engine “Google Chrome”
