BUTTON
To create the button for the front cover, I used the ‘Ellipse Tool’ which would allow me to draw an oval shaped button, which is
shown opposite.
BUTTON
I then had to include the text inside the button. In
order to do this, I used the ‘Horizontal Type Tool’ which allowed me to create a text
box within the button. I then typed the text,
making sure its all in capital letters, as this would make
It stand out more and attractive.
BUTTON
I rotated both the button, and the text box, slightly to
the left hand side, as I thought this would make it
look more effective. Furthermore, I filled the button in with the colour
black, and changed the font colour to white. However,
the words ‘TWO’ and ‘WON’ are in red, as these
can be seen as the most vital words, and by having it in red, its more eye catching.
The colours used match well with the image, linking the
magazine together as a whole.
BUTTON
Initially, I wanted to add a shadow to the button, but when I went to do this, I saw that it didn’t exactly
look right. I then saw ‘Stroke’ at the bottom, and clicked on it. This gave the button an outline, which
made it more noticeable. I decided to include this,
making the outline red, as it’s a bright and bold
colour, and also relates to the button, as theres red
text inside it.
BUTTON
It now shows the final format of the button, after its been filled in, with the correct font
and colour, and the red outline.
