DATED: 10 MAY 2016

Education Education is the simple process of learning

and knowing. It is not restricted to the schools only. Education starts from the mother’s lap. Parents and family inculcate good manners

and make responsible citizens out of their children.

5

Education“

The foundation of every state is the education of its youth”.

Diogenes LaertiusThe Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan says:

“The state of Pakistan shall remove il-literacy

and provide free and compulsory sec-ondary

education within minimum possible pe-riod.”

6

What is Problem: Social Problem can be defined as: “A social problem is any different behavior

in a disapproved direction of such a degree that it exceeds the tolerance limit of the community”.

It may also be defined as a condition, which effects large number of people in an adverse manner.

7

Out of School Children: Educational indicators

of Pakistan are still dismally low, although steady progress has been noticed during last few decades.

At present, about one third primary school age children are out of school, 47% population is illiterate.

8Focus on basic education only:

Government is only focusing on the basic education only

This is causing a lot of problems.

9

Poorly updated  Curriculum: Pakistani text book

boards are still unable to update the syllabus according to the requirements.

It is always changed with no proper planning.

10Inappropriate  examination System: Our examination

system is still inappropriate and is not meeting the standards.

11

Politic in education: Political interference

is devouring the all rules and merits in education system of Pakistan.

12

Costly  Education: In almost all

developed countries education is free of cost

We are still hanged in the trap of no free compulsory education.

13Poorly educated administration and supervision: The basic root

of these problems is the presence of poorly educated and untrained personnel’s at administrative level.

14

Unavailability of facilities: Proper facilities in the school, class room as

well as at higher level are almost unavailable and learning aids are completely vanished.

Annual Status Report 2014

15

Availability of  professional teachers: Professional teacher

appointment has become a big problem due to increasing rate of corruption and political interference and is becoming very problematic day by day. Annual Status Report 2014

16

Transportation hurdle: Pakistan transportation

system is much disorganized, unsecure, unavailable in equality in all areas of country and very costly.

It is affecting the students’ educational process very badly, as most of students belong to poor families and are unable to afford it. Daily Kawish 14 May 2016

17

Punishment: The punishment is

considered as compulsory for teaching purposes.

The punishment trend is more severe in public and madrissa sector.

18

Language barrier: Our educational

curriculum is in Urdu at primary level and in English at higher levels.

So this language barrier has caused a great disturbance to students while shifting form one level to another level.

19Insufficient funds and corruption:

As compared to the needs, the allocation of the funds for the education are too much insufficient and corruption is in addition to it.

20

Low scholarships: Scholarships

availability for brilliant, poor and needy students is almost low percent as compared to the number of students enrolled in institutions.

This situation is very bad in private sector.

21

Rare Personal Grooming: Lack of

professionals and well educated faculty has definitely resulted in the poor grooming of students’ personality

22

No exposure to the modern world: Very low exposure

to the outside world is available to the students in public sector.

This situation is worse in madrissa system.

23No extracurricular activities: Very poor

arrangement of extracurricular activities is seen in both public as well as private system.

24

Poverty: Poverty is also

another factor that restricts the parents to send their children to public or private schools.

They prefer to send their children to madrassas where education is totally free.

25

Gender Discrimination : The adult female

illiteracy rate in the country was twice as high as for males.

The number of private educational institutes and the available educational facilities are not equally provided all over the country.

?

26Teachers are not loyal to their profession: The primary schools

are the nurseries of the nation.

But our primary teachers are the least qualified and lowest paid.

How can they raise good crop?

27

Old teaching methods: Education is not only the

name of memorizing lessons,

It is not about analyzing the books that have no meaning to you.

Certain approaches must be taken to alter the teaching methods else wise our institutes will only produce copycats and followers.

28

Lack of Technical Education: The lack of technical

education is a biggest flaw in the educational policy that has never been focused before.

Therefore, less technical people mean less

29

Continuous Secularization: Education is the only tool

used to prepare the new generation according to the culture , religion and social values

Although being an Islamic state, we are still unable to clarify our mind about the Islamic content in curriculum.

This is increasing secularization in new generation.

30

Attack on Institutions

Attacks on educational institute is also a problem in today Pakistan

31

32

Allah Bless Pakistan! We should take part in this effort even at

individual level , if we are sincere to our beloved country, if this problem keep on suspending and

situation continues to get worse day by day with same rate as it is then ,

I am 100 percent sure that destructions, miseries  and slaveries are our destiny.
